What if this is Actually True?

Most Christians believe in Christianity without ever really thinking about what they believe. On the day that they start asking difficult questions, their faith often collapses in a huge pile of doubt or confusion. Some people choose to not think about their faith because thinking makes their brain hurt. But perhaps the real reason is that we are scared that it might actually be true, and then we will be compelled to actually start living as though it is real. This series will be a journey into some of the really simple questions about our faith which also happen to be the most uncomfortable.

A Light in the Darkness

Pope John Paul II repeatedly called for young people to be ‘sentinels of the dawn’. He wanted to raise up a generation of people who would live in a world that had become dark but proclaim the hope that the light of the dawn was about to break over the horizon. This series will look at how we can take up this call to bring the light of the Gospel to our world and create a culture of evangelisation in our church.

Made By Love, For Love, To Love: an Introduction to Theology of the Body

There's much hype about the Church's teaching around sexuality, but let's get right to the heart of the matter.  Instead of asking "How far can I go before we've gone too far?" we need to ask other questions, like: "What does it mean to be human?" "What does it mean to love?" "Why did God make me male or female?" "Why did God create sex in the first place?" We will discover together that our purpose in life is to be known and loved. Then we'll figure out how far is too far!
